From November 2 to November 26, an exhibition of silk scarves by the Russian brand Radical Chic “Art in the Square” will be held in Passage shopping gallery.
The exhibition is timed to coincide with the opening of the first showroom of the Russian handmade accessories brand in St. Petersburg.
Radical Chic scarves are modern works of art. These scarves’ design is based on the sketches of the brand’s design studio. Radical Chic has collaborated with the Tretyakov Gallery, the Faberge Museum and the Museum of Decorative-Applied and Folk Art.
The studio creates textile patterns — drawings for fabric — and sells them to 30 countries of the world. Furthermore, Radical Chic is the only Russian participant of the Paris Premier Vision.
Radical Chic scarves are sold in five countries and in twenty Russian cities.
Radical Chic accessories are included in collections of state museums and have long been recognized as works of decorative and applied art.
During exhibition, the brand will present silk scarves from the collections of different years. The rich history of an artistic life of our country constantly becomes a source of inspiration for all designers of the brand. At the exhibition, the visitors will be able to see silk paintings inspired by the Soviet avant-garde style. Among them, there is “Avangard” scarf that is a part of a collection dedicated to Soviet Moscow in the 1930s.
Radical Chic scarfs are created with love and respect to great traditions of Russian decorative and applied art, which is easily read in the works that will be presented at the exhibition in Passage.
